I watched a content creator the other day, who, in his video, described himself as a casual …at level 350 plus.
Well this filthy casual is languishing at 224 because , not to put too fine a point on it, he’s bored rigid.
It doesn’t matter what activities give the greatest push, it doesn’t what modifiers will give you a leg up, what matters is that running the same old portal activities time after time just isn’t healthy.
It’s not, seriously.
It’s not healthy to run the same activity ten, twenty, thirty, a hundred times, because how can it be enjoyable? It’s dull, it’s restrictive, it’s not the ‘fun’ we were once promised. It’s driving players away and giving those -blam!- a headache in their desperate desire to get better gear and a higher level.
And I can’t. I’m not going to. I’m not good enough and I don’t have the time to invest. I’m not going to treat Destiny as my job, as Bungie wants me too, because it’s not healthy to devote so much time for so little.
So, I’ll log on, perhaps do a weekly challenge or a daily, then do something else, because I can’t subject myself to the pursuit of levels I’ll never attain, in a game that disrespects me so much.

I agree 100%, yet there are those on here that defend this 💩, saying it’s the best the game has been. 🙄 I think that says more about them as people if they willing to run the same few solo ops to reach 450, and are happy about it. 🤦♂️ However there are quite a few BDF members I’ve not seen around in a while. Probably couldn’t stomach defending this crap.

Agree with all of that, I’m finding the bullet sponges to be very demoralising also
I watched a content creator the other day
I stopped reading after this.

Agree, it is so boring being funnelled into a small number of portal activities that have bonuses on them to entice you to grind. I am at 309 power, I grinded a bit at the start of solstice to get there as I wanted a shot at some tier 4's, I got head, arms and chest at tier 4 and they have hardly made any difference to my builds, it is pure fomo and everything else is being neglected.

Couldn't agree more. I'll return to do the same activity over and over again when they have an event I want to do or when I just feel like running around in the world but, for me, the grind is done.
