I've been playing EoF with an open mind, trying to get to grips with the changes and look at them positively.
I'm not a PvP player or Raider, so my enjoyment of the game is more limited than some, but I've still enjoyed myself since D1.
However, with the portal and pretty much everything else, I've concluded it's just awful. In fact it doesn't even feel like the same game.
I haven't played a strike or a nightfall in ages.
I like the idea of solo options being available, that's a clever idea, but don't detract from a core game feature like strikes or nightfalls. The fire team tab is just NOT the same.
I find it difficult to articulate why I feel down on EoF, but to sum up, it's just not fun anymore.

It’s just not enjoyable anymore, same activities repeated constantly for minimal rewards, much preferred the old system of playing, new destination sucks giant donkey balls

I tell you what is fun about EoF! Playing others games instead of sinking my time into something where my time, the most precious thing I have, is not respected.

Peoples skill and enjoyment plateau but this dlc doesn't allow for a comfort zone. Its entirely progression focused to endgame. Too hard and not fun? Too bad, once you stop chasing the worthless LL you realise theres nothing else. Had they updated the whole games loot tables to tiered so you could run anything and got appropriate tiered rewards I doubt the backlash would be as bad. Making portal the only relevent content was moronic.

Yeah... I did the grind for objective opinions. I don't like it either. Unless drastic changes are made, renegades will be my final dlc for destiny. The game is moving away from its core audience and catering to the vocal minority. It was fun, but the game is too much for me and many others.
