The story (well, maybe not the last few years ones - but taste differs), and the actual action part of the game, running, shooting, getting loot. Instead Bungie have spent countless hours on sidethings, like spamming different mechanics and implementing unnecessary stuff like potions and other similar things that really don't belong, that you have to prepare before gameplay. All those things need so much development hours, tuning, it can easily break things, and it is not done for the players, it is done for Bungie. It is done to delay the player and as such make the player time graphs look better. If all those hours instead was put into the story, interesting worlds, campaign missions - yes, invested in the real game play instead, the game would have been in a much better state. Make the game easier in difficulty. Let good loot drop whatever you play in the game. Let us test and enjoy the loot without locking them into different activities. Now so many people avoid raids and difficult activities because they either don't have time (because everything in the game now takes so long to complete, even basic campaign missions), or they don't dare try them because they think everyone else is better and you'll get flamed. Bungie, stop making the game for a few, few percent of the player base. It really is ok for a casual player to get loot and complete an activity. You don't, and should not, balance the game for a top 1% and be afraid of them for saying things are to easy. Let the 95%+ of the players enjoy everything in the game and feel rewarded for the hour they put into the game. If a few percent of the players feel it is too easy, so be it. They can easily make the game more difficult by putting on bad armour, guns they are not use to run with etc. But we have no option to make the game easier. What good is it, Bungie, if just a few percent of the players can enjoy the activites, loot and the light levels you've been creating?
