This old tortoise plus 1x or 2x hares does not a good mix make. The hare(s) blasts ahead and either explodes way off in the distance or is too far ahead to turn back and defuse us in time. Another issue with this exploder mod is the overwhelming rate of incoming fire from all points, eg, final boss fights. There’s so many bright and blinding fireworks it’s hard to see anything…let alone that enemy that spawns right behind you, or the lone dreg blasting away from goodness knows where?! On my W, did a Battleground Conduit…where 1x player hid at the rear of the final platform by crouching down on a ledge, whilst the two of us managed eventually to get it done…only for matey to reappear and grab the loot and bounce…🧐 At 350+ everything is a battle just to try stay alive…and being a tortoise - I don’t normally bother with timers, so, then the revives disappear?! Absolute nonsense! MM is great but ‘no mics’ hampers things. Many clans are stacked with inactive players…even if I stipulate ‘mic required’ in a FTF mission - nada!? In D1 - everyone chatted…or used text or emotes, and we raided nonstop and had a lot of fun! In D2 - that (space magic) vibe evaporated…🤔 Too much Neomuna Overtuna is not what works for the majority. A virtual handful can’t get enough artificially enhanced difficulty to feel ‘challenged’…just read any Destiny Forum… The new boss at BHQ has inherited a rather ‘poisoned chalice’ (drinking vessel) it will take some time to ‘course correct’ this vessel - if Sony let him?! Fingers crossed! 👈 The Solstice event was a step in the right direction! More good loot is what works every time! Scorcher crucible was good, too - even though I don’t normally bother with Scorcher mode. Rift / Mayhem / Momentum - much better, imho! 🥳 There’s a lot wrong with Destiny right now…yet there still is a lot right with Destiny, too…’twas ever thus…👻 That is all. Ease Springs! 🖖
