Bungie, what are you so afraid of!?
You continue to be stingy and refuse to address the problem of Avant Garde, the absurdity of the featured list, the lack of new content, the ridiculous power climb, lack of meaningful rewards, etc. What are you so damn scared of?? That if we’re rewarded for our time and allowed to play how we want that we’ll get bored and leave? Or that we won’t want your new weapons/armor? Talk to us! What are you so afraid of that has you in this stingy and micromanagy phase!? You’re honestly NOT getting it!

Avant grade would be fine if it was introduced a few seasons down the line . As it stands now there simple isn’t enough choice in the tired weapon pool.

8 RepliesBecause Bungle Studios is intentionally trying to drive the game to die off. It’s clear as day. The current staff at Bungle Studio needs the game to fail simply because they are no longer able to keep. It’s a clear sign of the “skill issue” and poor leadership driving this game to the become the pile of trash it currently is. Think about it; Bungle made the choice to remove the fun things in the game (grapple grenade spam, nerfing loot, adding in modifiers that nobody asked for) and other things. They put out one of the worst TWID’s in years and then basically said, “never mind”, yet still leaving the game in the terrible state it has been in for weeks now.

1 ReplyI believe you hit the nail on the head with them afraid of us getting bored and leaving, however they failed to realize that the tighter they grip just causes more players to slip through their fingers. If the game is fun, it will be played. Right now, the game is fun to only a fraction of players that still log in and play, though that number will just keep getting smaller and smaller as burnout increases.

I don't think that the bungie leads/devs that are there now have the same affection for the game and the player base that many of the originals that are now gone had. Their actions betray their feelings. As you say, they are stingy when it comes to loot drops, and when you play a lot of the content there are aspects designed in to punish you as a player.

Didn't you know they hate their payer base? The game just feels so broken now, they can't even give us rewards at our current level, I did 20 ops to get a chest piece if it had dropped at my current level it would have been a help not everything droppng 50 or more levels below. The ops all feel bad, spawning back into the enemy after you die or into lasers so you can't respawn. The difficulty levels are so bad you go from too easy and earn nothing to too hard and earning a little bit. They need to incease rewards for fireteam ops. Make the rewards based on finish score, C get 1 reward, B get 2 and A get like 4. They should be dropping at around your level or above not this rot of below, let us choice to get cores or level up some of our other gear. Unstable cores are crazy stingy, they give us 50 in weekly when some upgrades require 4000 or 5000, reduce they cost or increase the drops for us. I bet if you looked most players don't have a lot. The grind should be easier for the level and the true grind needs to be for the tier 5 weapons. Bungie if you want us to stick around and spend money make your game fun not a huge grind.

They ain’t afraid of anything. They know that no matter how much you complain. You will never leave. If the community wanted to make change? Then don’t play and affect their numbers. But you will continue playing daily. You guys are like crack heads. Complain about the prices from your dealer but you still buy from him daily

It is about data and KPI. It is not looking good and it will be worse after December reset. Long grind is already a issue. To then to reset and restart that long grind is absurd.

Avant-garde should be a weekly challenge for a Tier 5 drop and that's it.

Ok it’s not Bungie anymore it’s Sony . Bungie are finished …will eventually be dissolved into Sony . This is definitely a fork in the road for d2 , could either way ….down the drain or revamped 🤷🏼♂️

They are afraid of losing their streamers and their paid sponsorship with them. Even digital extremes even explained that some company's video game companies they do get some form of Revenue from streamers whenever they make money about a particular game from a company or if they do advertisement.. Why do you think bungie focuses so heavily on streamer feecback that's why.. Basically for bungie it's more about for the money and not so much about the quality.
