I’m cheating on Destiny 2

And I’m not sure if I feel bad about it. It only feels like cheating because I’m not quite ready to let go. Destiny was always my true love. Probably my favorite of all time. But it’s starting to feel like the one that got away. I know most of the long-time players feel the same way. We want to play Destiny. But too many wrong choices have led us here, and I don’t know if we can ever reignite the spark we used to have. The honeymoon phase is over. Now we are left with bitter resentment. I don’t know why I posted this. Most of my in-game friends are gone so I have no one to share my feelings with that will understand. I just want the good times back. It might be too late. I won’t name the other game I’ve been diving into, but hell, I’m having fun. And that feels nice.

  • OP: ‘two-timing’ might have been a better pick than ‘cheating’…context, and all that! 🤔 Expressing your passion for the game, and likening it to a ‘relationship’ is the norm, rather than the exception, imho. How many of us ‘love’ our cars / bikes / train sets…our ‘collectibles’…our own particular hobbies?! When one has invested ‘time’ (and passion) in a venture, it isn’t just an everyday thing…there has to be a relationship of sorts, otherwise, one would be more akin to an automaton. 🤖 You’re not alone! 👈 The vibe in D1 is long gone…that ‘space magic’ ain’t coming back anytime soon. 🙄 Chin up, Guardian! 👻 That is all. Play Fair! Play Nice! Don’t Cheat! 👈👈👈 Ease Springs! 🫡
