Everything is just a broken mess
Don’t know why I’m doing this to myself still but I did pay for it so yeah …
But the level of incompetence in Bungie is just staggering.
Literally EVERYTHING is broken and a complete dumpster fire. The performance is EMBARRASSINGLY POOR!
PvP is all over the shop. TTKs have no meaning anymore. Everything is fkd. Everything 2-taps somehow, weapon stats have no meaning apparently. What is up with Forgiveness? How is that gun outperforming every other weapon? Also every other sidearm, even exotic.
You load into Control, outnumbered. Takes 5 minutes to put new players in, by which time two more have quit. Every two seconds this obnoxious loud alarm sound “Your enemy has a power play!!!” Yeah?! Maybe give me more than three teammates then!!
And tell me what you will but they have been shadow-nerfing the SHHT out of old weapons since EoF started. With old weapons you feel completely underpowered.
I literally have nothing but contempt left for Bungo. It is beyond me how you can produce a game people love and then have the whole player base literally hate you for every decision you make. How are they not getting the fkkn message!?

2 RepliesLagging in PVP is so bad that most games are unplayable. Cheaters take advantage of it, as with so much lagging, everyone looks like cheating anyway. Most broken D2 PVP I ever played

6 RepliesIt's wild how much of the base game is just plain...broken. Try running the sacrificial altars on the Moon, and some of the bubbled Wizard mobs are unreachable with a sword, so you'll time out on the event and fail solely because nobody can reach a wizard in a sphere. I was going to get my weekly gold golf ball from an Excision replay, but....all that happened was I ended up porting in to hear "I-I don't understand" and suddenly I had the golf ball without having to fight anything - I assume everyone in the previous match had been DC'ed and us lucky few ported it to take their place right at the end. Which is more than fine...the entire event is broken, laggy, and sometimes the mobs don't spawn so it's impossible to complete. Standing around emoting in Dares because nothing is happening - either we killed everything too quickly or half the team was DC'ed. I've said all I intend on saying about Portal, I'm done with it for now, it's too boring. But the alternatives? Where, when it's all broken beyond apparent repair?

Sounds like you are on the seven steps of grief ! Dude move on already ! So many are forcing themselves to play d2 ….just stuck ! D2 is what it is now ….a game that had amazing run but it’s over …same as Bungie ….finished .

They're in panic mode now because gacha destiny had a successful launch and is pulling tons of players away, plus it's probably finally setting in that marathon is gonna implode on launch. If they thought sony was in their -blam!- before, imagine now.

I lvled to 450 and as soon a i reached it i jumped the ship, the game is a mess and depressing.i have around 15k hours in this game and thought it would be hard to not login everyday. But it is actually pretty easy,but when u feel burned out and tierd of bungies bs, it is easy. Why should we keep support them when they clearly dont care about theyr players? I do login from time to time but not as often as i used to,maybe twice a week for 2-3 hours. Let me give u a tip. Take a brake,play other games,no need to be depressed on this game anymore,Bungie may bring it back after the flop of marathon is complete.

All I want to know is why I completed Kell's Fall and don't get exotic shotgun yet my son did it last week and got it? Is it random drop? Why is it labeled "exotic mission" and I can't get the EXOTIC?! Also, why are all my ornaments that I had unlocked locked?! I've been gone for a couple of years and I am lost. Al

Totally agree, the game is so broken and so much has been stripped out of it. Now you have one thing to do Ops, they complain about us doing solo ops so much but there is no variety to do anything else. We are forced to do higher level activities, once you hit each level the lower ops are obsolet.Used to be so nice jumping in doing strikes knowing you you a reward after 3 and completing the pathfinders. Bring back the bounties and destination activites, playing Destiny Rising has been such a nice change so much to do places to explore and you feel like you are achieving something. I am having issuses with drops where I need one piece but nothign drops in that slot not even at my current level which would help. They have made the game only about the grind, not for the shiny god rolls like we used too. The tier on gear is the dumbest thing, you look at your lower tiers and just want to replace it but then can't get it. By the time most of us get tier 5 they will reset our level and nerf the gear for Renegades.

I agree with your post. Regardless of what people say. This game has potential of being top 10 FPS of all time and that is just in how smooth gameplay is. I will always back up Bungie for how good the gameplay feels but with the recent DLCs, layoffs, and corporate greed, with EoF I feel like they set themselves 1 step forward and 5 steps back. I hope they realize that Destiny is their actual money maker. Marathon could of been anything BUT an extraction looter game. I hope they come around swinging.

Can they actually improve the game? Yes, but it would require a hell of a lot of effort/work/money that they are not willing to put into the game. Other than popping in on the forum once in a while to see what is going on, and seeing that nothing has changed about the game/developer, and knowing I stopped "doing it to myself" a while back, meaning paying for content that is just being pushed out the door. I'm glad I woke up and stopped supporting something that wasn't working for me. The main problem here is, the player base just accepts anything thrown out the door, so they really have no one to blame but themselves if they are not happy with how things have been handled.
