Bungie, please, what is this nonsense? Can you really not fix this?
There are a million situations where I'm winning with my team, the score is 33-20, victory is in my pocket, and suddenly the connection drops. I get kicked out, and by the time I get back (which I can't do in time, the game ends), what's the result? I get -80 points for leaving the match?
Are you serious? How long is this going to go on? This kills any desire to play. Why do my efforts go down the drain just because something happened on your servers, especially when my own connection is stable and fine? This is just -blam!- disrespectful to the players and their hard work.
Can't you somehow differentiate between someone intentionally quitting because they're losing and something like this? Moreover, correct me if I'm wrong, but there are tons of situations where two players leave, and I'm left sitting there like a rubber duck for a beating from 3 guys. And the stupidest part is, there's no point in playing, but I'm forced to! Because if I leave, it's -80 points? What for? For leaving a dead game? If I play it out, I'll get -80 points anyway, or even more, plus my KD will be something like 0.08.
Are you serious?
P.S. LOL, to the people downvoting the post - where are your arguments or anything? Or can you only downvote for no reason? Want to claim it's not factual?

That is people on the other team cheating.....I thought everyone knew that. When you are on a streak in trials, it happens all the time. It sucks that they use suck old sever tech like peer to peer.

Edited by Stari: 9/1/2025 11:00:53 PMI've always thought that those peer-2-peer disconnects were purposly done by Bungie "servers", so specific players have a bigger chance to win.

Unfortunately it's how the things are, the only time you're still somewhat safe if you're able to rejoin I remember one time I was absolutely slaying lobby on Widow's Court, it was like 33-25 or something, I pop my Gathering storm and game crashes lol, of course I didn't have enough time to join I don't get too many DC's to be honest, maybe twice a month, I use wired high speed internet If you get too many DC's then it's definitely not Bungie servers (even tho they suck)

Rainbow Six Siege is really good about getting you back in game so its definitley possible

Terrible feeling when there's no indication of lag. Your shots register just fine. Enemy players move and shoot you no problem. Then randomly blackscreened and kicked to orbit. Error code Honeydew

Edited by 0interestrates: 9/1/2025 5:41:11 AMExactly how my matches go. Most of em doing well for the first few minutes or half a match then i can no longer do any damage at all. I never get kicked tho

They can't tell the difference between a legitimate connection issue and someone pulling the cable to try to get out of a losing match. If you're getting disconnected that often: fix your network connection.

Bungie is too dumb to fix anything. They are useless. Look at them
