So, this is just how I remember things. But from Beyond Light until today (minus a few short periods) Hunters have always dominated PVP. I'm sure there is a catalog that shows what class was meta when, but all I remember is being stomped by Hunters unless I played as one.

Guys, I'm really glad to see these topics. Please, keep them coming, I'll support you. Whenever I create topics like this, it seems like those very Hunters instantly lower my rating. It's impossible to play PvP right now. The Hunter era has lasted way too long, and I'm tired of it. I'm tired that Titans and Warlocks literally only have 2-3 viable, normal PvP exotics, while Hunters have a whole array of them. I'm tired that Hunters have the most useful PvP class ability (somehow, the Warlock's Icarus Dash or the Titan's Thrust don't give any buffs). Why does the Dodge give buffs, and on top of that, synergizes with exotics? What kind of balance are we talking about when I'm playing against 3 Hunters and it's a joke—they almost killed all of us in a gunfight from the other end of the map with throwing knives that also ricochet and one shoted us! Oh yeah, and Hunters are running around with a broken shotgun HC (Hand Cannon?)—which is complete absurdity. They don't even need special ammo; they just shred me from the other side of the map. Guys, yes, I know I could also use it, but I just don't want to play in this Hunter and shotgun HC circus. It feels like Bungie doesn't test their "new" additions at all and doesn't check anything. Do you really care so little about PvP?! I don't want to seem like someone who's always unhappy and complaining, but PvP is unbalanced, it's broken, and it's all about Hunters. And now they're going to buff them again? Are you kidding me?

Was playing some Destiny rising, was happy. Came back to do some trials. Instant bombarded by 3 hunters all running some sort of cheese combo (Tempest strike or Throwing knife combo). Went back to Destiny rising, happy again :)

Trials is in the funniest state ever. Now I finally won with 3.25 kad 13 kills and my teammates had flawless title and red trials glow and opponents with ascendant emblem and 19 seasonal flawless and the red glow as well. And here's me with 13 game losing streak and seasonal wins now 5. And I'm playing the non flawless passage now xD Come on Bungie.

It's not just hunters, it's everybody. It is just abilities simulator instead of real gun play at this point

The entirety of pvp is team shotting and hunter spam. Almost every team has 2 hunters. Look at my pvp history lol

Arc mele spam is ridiculous
