What NOT to do in your work life: a guide for guardians irl

Just because you got a degree does not make you the greatest worker to have lived. If anything this game, its general outcome and the lacking of just about everything should be a huge bowl of humility. Take notes from these folks failures and attitude towards us. Be the opposite of them and be a great worker where ever you go. Ima break down why they all just suck at whatever it is they do. So you went and got a degree, feel awesome because you work for a top tier (or so we thought) company. In this expansion alone they have shown how little passion they have for their own work, proven why experience is valued on all levels and from my point of view, make it really easy to see why ethics are needed. Ethic in work progress, work communication, honesty and openminded thinking in a new gen work space. So here is the bowl of ugly: First: concept art was made in D1, when they split from a company who had an entire division of artists, that should have been the queue to go to fans for concept art. Their designs are rotten eggs. Throw up has more palette and creativity than whatever they think they have. This paw patrol look is not it. gun designs are not it. Secondly: they retracted like any human however instead of coming back with some spine to attack or counter our negative, they made this game of “we listen to a select group and give a really fake face to the rest of them” Which became so evident from Lightfall exspansion on, maybe earlier. Yes, we suck and say terrible things, however those with the most respect fire back at the talk. This leads to our gameplay experience which I always joked was going to this f u level of insanity was made for “mythic fabled” what ever mode on kepler. weapons get 1 damage 4 on crit and max 100 on the hardest world tier. A pawn has more life than Artheon, a raid boss because they are lazy, did not take time to actually look at your code which i am learning also is super important, you got the npc randomly spawning and respawning places, others just instantly come back after we kill it. AND WE TICKLE THEM!! Like ten minutes of tickling to move one meager step. So they suck at their jobs because they act like they know it all yet the state of the game in hard mode for a solo gamer is “sorry -blam!- dont be a -blam!- haha” hard. It makes me want to just walk into a black hole and be torn apart molecule by molecule (basically a super painful way of dying) Let me remind you of successful strategies other companies had in place for things: Path of Exile scaled mods, atks and made it feasible to actually sass and get sassed. Warframe saw the movement glitch and said “eh its not game breaking so we leave it” Borderlands (take note here) which has the mayhem modes let a coder break their game into mapped mods for each weapon so people could make dumb builds that legit broke frames…. Rest his soul All that to say others who have the same degree seemed to have the smarts to not just delete code then add more code and hope it would all just workout. They actually worked hard to find that syntax error or clashing instances that were creating issues and when gamers said more pain they gave ways to allow the gamer to also deliver pain. Bungie on the other hand made it almost impossible to do anything, called rubber banding NPCs normal when it makes even good gamers say “thats stupid” Im sure they love that crap too. Watching us die for nonsense ways. So truly note they have learned nothing at all, and I pray they do not get hired anywhere else with this ethic. They carry themselves like walking radiation. Most importantly: what matters at the job is the job… not my -blam!- preference, religion or anything of that matter. What matters is: am I performing, am I reliable and above all, can I take a critique? As in: I dont always know what I am doing or there might be a better way. Check your work, ask for others to check your work. Keep improving until you retire.
