Reading this forum, I've found other people with the same problem:
The character disconnects after less than thirty seconds of logging in, resulting in the inability to continue the game.
Error code: WEASEL.
The game works fine, the account logs in correctly, but as soon as you open a character, it disconnects you; a few seconds, just enough to kick you out.
I've read about various situations: in my case, there's no connection issue or verified computers, there's no ban in effect (otherwise, it would warn me when I log in), and the game was installed and reinstalled by clearing the cache.
In any case, the answers given always refer to guides and tutorials for checking connections, Wi-Fi, or drivers...
I'll add my voice to the chorus.
The game installed by EPIC works perfectly, and I can log in and play perfectly with my characters... Too bad that even with cross-save, even though it's my account but logged in from another platform, it's completely missing all the expansions I legally purchased.
Bungie sends every request for help to Steam, Steam sends every request for help to Bungie... and what about us? What do we do?
Who gives us a glimmer of hope that we haven't wasted all that money?
