I recently returned to the game and the power boost chest took me from 120 to 300 power level, which was nice, I thought. However, I cannot complete the next requirement in Custom Ops Training because it requires me to score A or B (can't remember and irrelevant) when I am literally unable to configure anything beyond mid-C because I can't select anything more difficult than Advanced. [Edit] The training mode enforcement appears to be linked to your equipped power level and the scoring is linked to your max power level. The solution was to use some of the boost gear as infusion fuel.
