Delta bad; reward update good
The delta mechanic is bad. Makes power pointless past 470 and just makes the game not fun on ultimate level.
On the other hand, the updates to the rewards is good, very good.
Keep the reward changes and lose the delta and rerun the portal to before this weeks delta change

2 RepliesThe power delta is honestly not bad. Like, at all. However, I do think there should be activities where it’s possible to over-level.

I guess I mean to say I don’t have to play ultimate just yet to gain power. I think the portal is still super boring, but less so than last week. And I agree, the rewards are quite a bit better.

I was just doing some Ultimate with a mate that is being brought up with fireteam power, and we are still blowing through them. You can play pretty carelessly and everything still dies without much fight. Current Ultimate isn't even remotely as hard as what a GM used to be.

I’m at 475 power, and got tier 5 and +2 drops today, just doing the matchmade fireteam on GM and solo GM ops with bonuses. More specifically, I got to 475 today from 460. I was having a good time leveling up, playing a variety of old -blam!- activities. Once you get tier five weapons and armor builds, I guess the point is to use them? Try the conquests. Crucible ain’t all that bad. Or help some other people out with missions. I don’t know; I’m just finding enjoyment trying out different builds.

I love the difficulty on Ultimate. It's perfect. Having lots of fun with my Hunter build.

I like the delta more than the old system, but I think it could be improved more to make power past 470 worth it.
