As of March 25th, accounts became permanently linked with the exception of Twitch. You cannot unlink the Epic account even if you can authenticate it; at most all you would be doing is disabling cross-save which will make all linked accounts use their own characters so you'd only have access to your characters/gear while on Playstation. Bungie will not forcibly unlink it.
