So what was the point in overloading every single activity with these things? It gets to the point they're completely unavoidable. Nothing tracks them, not buddies not shurikens, nothing.
Was the point of these things to make the game just as frustrating as possible? Making sure we die? Does Bungie think it's funny? They don't "add to the challenge". They're cheap. They're cheap as -blam!-. Oh you just wasted three phalanx? Good. They all spawn a million screebs that will follow you until you die.
Remember when Bungie said it wouldn't have cheap damage? Well guess what guys; this is cheap as it gets. Quite literally. Microsoft stopped counting my playtime in hours. It now counts in days.
This issue alone is making me about give up on it. Like, the huge one is funny, the regular sized ones can add to a challenge. These tiny ones are some jilted employee's -blam!- you. They have to be.
F screebs forever.

Agree. In general, with the now fixed power deltas, I think they should let up on the modifiers. If a -30 delta already means enemies hit harder and I hit weaker, why add a modifier that lowers my damage? The delta already handled that. There are too many times now, like today, where I log in, look at the modifiers on the fireteam and pinnacle ops and then log out. Screebs are a non starter for me now. If I have only 3 revives for the team, and these things chase you across the map to one shot you, no thanks.
