I just tried to do a Solo Op at level 500, I think there was only 1 revive and I had to put on a shite ton of negative mods in attempt to make it worth while. Died once and was dunzo. So I wonder, who is this game for?!
Yes I grinded forever to get to 500, but that doesn’t make me super skilled. It just means I took the time to suffer through all of the BS to get there. But now I’m wondering why, because once you get to 500 or above, Bungie just makes the game shite on you. So what exactly is the point?!
I don’t even know why I’m typing this.
I know it will just get attacked by the trolls (most of whom I’ve blocked so I can’t see your comments) and elitists who will just say “get good”, but honestly I’m not that bad, it’s that the game is just tiring and/or boring. I suppose I could get through the activity if I really, really, really tried hard, but why? I don’t feel like it’s fun at all. I just feel like I’m being forced to choose my own method of torture. Yes games don’t have to be a cakewalk, but everyone shouldn’t be made to feel like they need to be a professional gamer just to enjoy their pastime either.

Jet Set WillyIt’s the final countdown (oh oh-oh oh) - old
I played through the 8-bit and 16-bit eras. I’ve played challenging games in the past. Now, I’m older and just cannot be bothered with difficult content. I will play what I find fun, and will not play what I dislike. That precludes me from much of Destiny 2’s content, which is fine. I wouldn’t have even tried a solo op under the conditions you mentioned.
