Bungie should keep the festival helmets light after event. I think it would bring some good will towards the players
It's really cool having a helmet that can slot in different armor set bonuses allowing people some flexibility. We had an entire armor set for solstice in addition to the weapons why not keep the helmet. It kind has that niche feeling that artificer armor had. And can save a lot of vault space being able to cover multiple sets. And has the trade-off that you can't use it with builds that use exotic helmets.
It was so nice that on my hunter I never got a t5 helmet before the end of the event this has allowed my hunter to get that extra little stat boost with my solstice set.

So all Bungie needs to do is make the FOTL ornament able to equip mask ornaments and make the actual FOTL helmet able to equip shaders/non-FOTL ornaments. This would give players a reason to get on just for this event. To grind something they can use anytime, rather than only during Halloween. And yes, it would be a big show of goodwill. Unfortunately for us, Bungie isn't aiming for goodwill. What Bungie is aiming for, I couldn't say. Nor they.
