Unfortunately, the issue I described above still isn’t fixed on my end, and it’s preventing me from playing anything other than PvP and the Salt Mines. I’m also on the latest Steam version, so this isn’t a case of being out of date.
According to the Call to Arms updates, this problem was supposed to be resolved:
“Fixed an issue where the Iron Banner quest Testament of Strength was overriding the Call to Arms quest.”
I haven’t played in a while, and this event finally gave me a reason to return—but right now, I just can’t properly play the game. The new “content” doesn’t offer the variety or engagement needed for a genuinely enjoyable experience.
I’ve been here since D1 and still have a lot of love for this franchise, but in its current state, the game feels unplayable. Please, Bungie—give us reasons to fall in love with Destiny again. Showering players with loot means nothing if the experience itself isn’t fun.

1 ReplyThe initial fix only worked for some people and they mentioned shortly after when people had mentioned it didn't work for them that they're looking into it again. Unfortunately with the event ending in less than 48 hours, there's a near absolute 0% chance it'll be fixed. Some people have managed to work around it by swapping characters to one that didn't have the Testament of Strength quest but if all 3 characters have the quest then you're stuck.
