Sudden FPS Drops and Stutter After Update, Bungie Please Help!
Bungie, the game has been running poorly since the last update. I’m getting sudden FPS drops, instability, and sometimes the game just feels weird — like a kind of stuttering, even though the FPS don’t actually drop. I love this game, but lately it’s been performing badly. Everything was running perfectly before the latest DLC. I don’t know if I’m the only one, but I’m also seeing visual bugs from time to time. How can we get Bungie to pay attention to this?

Edited by goji: 11/28/2025 2:03:58 AMThis issue has been around since Edge of Fate launched and it's all caused by Bungie removing exclusive Fullscreen mode and replacing it with a borderless windowed Fullscreen mode. It's so bad that I've stopped playing D2 on PC and started playing it on PS5 where it has none of these issues.

Games poorly optimized, hasn’t received a good optimization patch since Forsaken. So it’s slowly getting more and more bloated. I just upgraded to a 5070, and Destiny 2 is the ONLY game that gives me issues with constant stutters, frame drops and tears lmao.
