Okay Bungie... f*ck all the way off with this one. I've had the same Bungie name for close to a decade, passed through all your filters and fit code of conduct for practically a full decade. Was it borderline? Eh, maybe worst case scenario it was borderline, but not rule breaking in any way. First it was last year when a "glitch" on your end that forced a name change to "Guardian(#)" and I was stuck with that thanks to your sh*tty coding for a nearly a year until you finally got around to giving people a name change token MONTHS after you announced you would be doing so. Finally got the token and changed my name back to what it was originally. Again, no issue with code of conduct or nothing. Login in today, ANOTHER FORCED NAME CHANGE! Oh, so I can't change my Bungie account name EVER but you all can change it for me whenever the hell you please? The math ain't mathing on this one. Nothing like getting your identity and individuality stripped from you, not once, but now twice, makes you lose all desire to play a game. At this point I'm just done. It's like opening your eyes to an abusive relationship that you've been stuck in for years and are just realizing the other person gives zero shits about you. Collecting my dumb aesthetics from this event, which I will never use, and walking away from this game.
