Bungie Thank you : Renegades is the best play in years !
Not sure about everyone else but this Renegades is the most fun I have had in Destiny 2 in years....drop rate and loot are off the charts and it makes its so much more fun to play the harder stuff because its worth trying to do it and finish.
Bungie dont mess with this formula and folks will come back.

5 RepliesI disagree, it is better than last season, but is a far cry from the funest they have ever produced. Too much equipment locking, timers, limited revies. The whole progression is focused only on having players get to ultimate mode difficulty. I do not want to play ultimate mode, I have zero desire to play everything at master, let alone harder levels. I can't progress because I refuse to play the harder modes. No more LL increase for me.

Got to admit i have my gripes with this dlc but so far it is by far one if not the best decision bungie has made tbh

Honestly? All top end PvE content can be cleared without firing a shot. It’s lightsaber + ability spam. I jumped on when I realised GMs were back. But after watching team mates destroy everything without having to shoot It made me realise that Destiny isn’t about gunplay anymore.

When u see a bungei employee post. Renegade has been intresting but thats it, the changes made this season have hurt this game. There was nothing wrong with the difficulty of the game in any past season, just another bungie flop.

The loot, feats and taken crystal chase have been great. Already spent more time in there than the last two dungeons.

5 RepliesYou could literally give someone a brand new car, free of charge, and they will complain it isn’t blue. No matter what these loud vocal minority will never be pleased. The people who only play for the fomo, for elitism, for ungodly high level of challenges, and who always abuse PC exploits like hotkey loadout swapping while also while bashing other players for not being good don’t matter. These people will always make their comments and opinions known but they do not matter, they will play the game regardless of how much they like it so it’s pointless trying to make the game more appealing to them

First time I’ve paid to play in years. Having fun, enjoying a lot of it. New weapons and perks really feeling good to me. Abilities are awesome (I know a lot of you don’t like it, but yeah, being a super undead champion and smashing everything is great!) Timers suck, locked gear still is the worst. Portal needs tons of work. Syndicate affiliations are weak and rewards are meh. Game seems to be getting better, but I’m still on the fence. Extraction feels like a marathon primer.

2 RepliesI've been having fun, although I haven't really tried any of the harder content. Just playing what I'm in the mood for and that works for me. Plus, we've got until March so there doesn't seem to be any reason to rush through everything.

I'm about to jump into Renegades this week but the crossover theme that I have seen has been really well done. The 1st campaign mission (story elements, attire) that I have seen, the location and especially the attention to creating the new weapon types -- you can see a lot of work was done there > a lot of GOOD work*. I even will try to run the Dungeon... I agree there is a lot of loot for sure (1000slots needed phew) - having fun... and seems like a lot to do :) I was thinking about what other themes would fit so well because Star Wars has iconic locations, look and weapons that just integrate perfectly into the D2 world... cause I have no issue with these crossover things if they are done so well *the weapons team is showing they still got it

12 RepliesNo. Since everything rains loot, it actually discourages you from playing the harder content. Why bother bashing your head against a wall when you can get the same amount of rewards from going AFK in Crucible?

I think it's been pretty good too - mostly because they made the dungeon reasonable. Not like freaking Sundered, where you instantly don't want to do it the second you see the glyphs. And the season activity is pretty chill too, just wish primaries were somewhat viable. There are modifier combos where not even thunderlord is making a dent and sometimes they'll combine that with slow regen on abilities. It's not great. The only somewhat viable primary I've found so far is the dungeon pulse with d-rounds.
