1. They patched the drop rate for Cyan.
2. For crystals that say get them "here"... it has to be gold border map (which can also drop the new exotics, I'm not sure if you need to have them unlocked first).
*Contested zones might also work
It was taking a while for me, my buddy asked what are you farming? The nodes for each planet.
Are they gold? Sometimes. I usually decide based on objective.
In my defense, I only really watch D2 science vids... lol. I was dumb.
So yeah, gold borders for the crystal... took 2 days to get the ones I needed.

2 RepliesI have all crystals. They do not need to be farmed from a gold border area

1 ReplyI got the mars crystal yesterday and I’m 99% sure it was from a non-invadable run.

Edited by Sol, The Architect Mind: 12/24/2025 3:35:57 PMWho's doing the science of Destiny vids? Kinda wanna see if they're feeling wonky too. Wanting to be able to send it to my sis, she if she would utilize the game and gaming with the kid to teach. She is doing home schooling, and she doesn't like shooter genre, but the kid hunts and I'm trying to steal them away from fortnite.

I knew they boosted the drop rate for Cyan I didn’t know the score with the planetary crystals. Thanks for the heads up mate, I’ve been blindly farming for them on any node 😅

1 ReplyEdited by whateverman7: 12/24/2025 5:42:07 AMThanks, might try that as a switch up when farming for crystals. Will say: just did an expert sabotage on venus. It didn't fully complete the contract, but I got the magenta crystal to drop. Fair trade off I think lol. Off to another planet and try it again.

they need to let invades happen at beginning instead of mid match dude it’s repetitive
-
I definitely got at least 2 out of my 3 crystals from non-invade nodes. I cant stand the invasions so I avoid them as much as possible.

3 RepliesThat gold border around the renegades missions/jobs just means it's invadeable. Indigo, orange and magenta can drop from as long as you're on that planet.
