Is Equilibrium dungeon worth playing
I have trouble finding good teams who have patience in doing raids and dungeons.
I used to love raids in particular - eg Leviathan, but it was them all downhill from there.
Is the new dungeon worth it - even if just to get the materials required for Praxic blade?

If you have it on 5 feats Otherwise you will get tier 2-3 weapons -
If you’re a Destiny player every dungeon or raid should be experienced at least once. Some are more user friendly than others but all in all the RAD team usually knocks it out of the park. In short, yes you should definitely play the dungeon.

100% worth playing! its fun once you get the mechanics down-not even that hard to understand By far the BEST looking armor ever released

5 RepliesTo be honest, once have Taken and Heirloom exotic. It be forgotten Weapon practically usless due Heat weapon, which be in Vault collecting dust ready to dismantle. Only best one is Uncivil Discourse.

Not really no. I find the Dungeon to be incredibly boring. An annoying gladiator bass and a stationary arc turret, just isn't fun. The loot is nothing special. Sure the Sniper rifle is strong, but it over heats after 3 shots, so you best stick with either succession or the supremacy.

The rewards are worth it but the lightsaber additional upgrades you have to complete the quest... The catalyst itself you have to use the focus system in the dungeon at the temple to focus your drops for the catalyst and the drops are based on rrg it's not like you complete the quest you instantly get the catalyst you still have to run the dungeon multiple times.... I have not done the quest I'm only on step 4 because I don't see a reason to get the focus option because I already have all of my armor and weapons from the dungeon as tier 5 (Titan) the feat system it's good it's a great way to make the dungeon harder and get better rewards. Even when you complete the dungeon with 4 or 5 modifiers active you actually get a ghost shell it's a really cool ghost it literally looks like the holocron from Star Wars. However the popular opinion about the dungeon modifier cutthroat it needs to be drastically balanced because when you add stuff onto it like the battalions where it increases your yellow bars throughout the dungeon iit's extremely difficult compared to contest mode with these two modifiers active together even players who play professionally even say that it feels harder than contest mode... Logical a modifier should not feel harder than a contest though that's a clear balance issue. You know it's kind of like the desert raid where the contest mode was so unbalanced that people cheated and they had to redo the entire contest mode because of the balance issues that's what cutthroat feels like where everything is a glorified bullet sponge.

Oh yeah dude it's actually very cool, the dungeon was designed as a modular system where the difficulty depends on the modifiers you slot, which I think is great. At base I was surprised by how easy they allowed it to be, while still being enjoyable.

Yes. The things you can get from this dungeon are worth doing the dungeon. The weapons are in a league of their own. The armor set bonus is great for praxic blade and there’s a quest tied to the dungeon to further upgrade your blade. The dungeon is also just fun to do IMO. Can’t say much about the exotic cuz I haven’t used it yet and the taken crystal looks awesome.

Dungeons are pretty much the only reason I play this game, most of my grinding is for things that will make soloing them easier for me. From my perspective this is probably the most fun I’ve had with a dungeon since shattered throne, normally I get my solo flawless and I’m done unless I really want the exotic from it. This one I’ve cleared multiple times and even decided to do the quest, something I rarely do. Even if you can’t find ppl to play with you should give this one a try solo, it’s satisfying to complete without having to rip you hair out in frustration.

This dungeon is like on shattered throne level of difficulty and mechanics. It’s not terrible, it’s only about 30-40 mins with a decent squad.

2 RepliesIts worth playing, especially since you dont need to buy Dungeon key to play it. When it comes to getting the catalyst for the Praxic, you won't get that on your first run. So first run just have fun, lean the mechanics and then run it again for the praxic blade components
