Why I still playing Destiny.

The Combat gameplay is fun! • being able to save different load-outs. • using different weapons to create a new feel. • different powers and subclasses to give a new feel. • The DRIP is huge for me. If my guardian didn’t look COOL then I would have left the game along time ago. What I HATE about the game… • Puzzles & Mechanics: I typically avoid anything that’s mechanics and puzzle heavy. When I come home from work I just want to have fun and smash some stuff! • IMMUNE shields: never fails, right when you’re ready to sink your teeth in and have fun an immune shield pops up and forces you to do your homework before you go outside and play. I do love a formidable challenge and a daunting task from time to time. For example, I love GM’s, I’m definitely a conqueror. Grandmasters aren’t mechanic heavy nor do they have a lot of puzzles. It’s more about doing a good amount of damage and surviving. I bet Bungie would have a higher player retention if our end game content wasn’t solely based on mechanics and puzzles. For example: It’s actually not a Raid it’s actually a Labyrinth. A raid has two terminologies one from Viking lore and the other one from military operations in a real raid. There are no puzzles or mechanics. It’s just simply annihilating everything and that sounds like a lot of fun and I bet the community feels the same way, perhaps Bungie should create end game content that specifies a raid or a labyrinth that way players who want to be mentally tested get what they want and players like myself that actually want to do an authentic raid where there isn’t a lot of thinking it is just simply causing a lot of damage and survivability

  • Bro says a military raid has no puzzles... you think the military is just dropped into enemy-territory & told "just point and shoot" ? You clearly have no idea what an ACTUAL raid is, so lemme break it down : The entire raid is a puzzle... planning for years how to infiltrate said territory, figuring out what their defenses are like, how the structures are fortified & how to bypass sentinels (unlocking doors and barriers, activating plates) Gathering intel on who their leaders are, how many civilians will be impacted, which enemies should strategically be kept alive (add-clear, priority targets, mini-bosses who drop buffs) Calculating how many soldiers, what types of skill-sets, long range weapons versus CQB (build-crafting & team composition) Sorry, but your argument sucks. Real life raids do have puzzles, strategy, mechanics & logistics. If you're not good at puzzles, then maybe raids arent for you. And thats ok, there's plenty of other stuff to do... but dont try to argue that mechanics should be removed for everyone else just cuz you dont like them. With all that said, I always offer help to ppl who need it. If you actually want to learn mechanics, add me, I teach often. Just bring a mic, comms are essential to a successful operation.
