Rose Being Unacquirable is dumb
FOMO is not fun and i HAD A DAMN ROSE but i dismantled it by mistake. PLEASE put it back at Shaxx or Xur. This is just unfair and “play certain weeks to win” is not a fair mechanic. If you’re going to make a great weapon like that, YOU DONT MAKE IT UNACQUIRABLE after just a few months. No other game studio would DARE. Imagine the reaction if Warzone/CoD removed a new OP weapon but let people who had it keep it with zero changes. That’s what Bungie has gotten away with.

Agreed. One would think, since Bungie likes to add artificial play time to the game anyway, they would add real incentive for players to continue playing comp or pvp in general, by either having any previous comp weapon have a chance to drop on wins, or by just straight up bringing back the focusing option at Shax. Bungie cutting players off from reliably acquiring older weapons is another reason why there is a vault space problem in the game too. Of course people are going to hoard things if they're afraid of them never being acquirable again.

1 ReplyHopefully xur sells it at some point, this would be a good idea or have shaxx rotate some of the pvp weapons weekly to give players a chance at the older weapons.

While I agree the comp weapons should remain focusable. The corundum hammer effectively fills the hole if you get the god roll.

Alas, Bungie does the easy, short-term solution and cuts loot/content from the game to "make room" for "new" (read: recycled) stuff because it costs less money and dev time to do it.
