Recently I Was Hacked
Good evening guardians... on 12/26 my Steam cross play account was hacked... the guy said he "bought" it and deleted two of my three characters...I know Bungie doesn't roll back characters, but is there any chance I can get my platform name back? Once I realized I was hacked I submitted a Steam ticket at 4:30 PM and they finally locked my account at 1:15 AM the next morning. Since then I've reset all passwords, made sure 2FA was back on my Steam account.. it had 2FA two months ago which was the last time I logged into it since I play exclusively on Xbox these days. I'm slowly rebuilding the other two characters running through the story missions again but the hacker used my name changes. I was originally xXxDeaglexXx#2843 before this and since he used my tokens am I just outta luck or could something be done? Thanks for reading. <3

1 ReplyHey there, Bungie does not give out new name changes on request, or offer any kind of name edit or reversion (apart from code of conduct moderation). If you want the name gone, you can use the privacy form to request it be reset to a 'Redacted' default name. https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049024632-Contact-Form-Data-Privacy-Requests
