RNG feels really bad
I want to preface this statement by first saying I have over 120 runs in the lawless frontier since release. I have completed my renegades seal. I have completed at least 2 times the amount of contracts as I have lawless frontiers (it's pretty easy to knock out 2-3 contracts per run) and in that time I have seen 2 exotic contracts pop up and neither has dropped the crystal. I still don't have the the Europa or Venus crystals either. I completed my Invasion seal before the red crystal dropped. I don't mind a chase, but the drop chance is way too low for the crystals. It really needs to be adjusted.

It'd be nice if wagering and perfect runs upped the drop rate, but that would make too much sense.

2 RepliesFor this to be the only thing I’m interested in chasing and it’s completely RNG makes me less interested in firing up the game to try. Against my better judgement I’m now around 70 invasions with no drop. This does not make me want to play more and if the red crystal is this bad with short invasions I will have no shot at the black crystal. Watching so many people get it in their first few tries while getting a constant middle finger from Bungie sucks.

2 RepliesPeople are making such a big deal out of not getting the crystals right away. Seriously, you won't even remember the sword or the crystal next season. Even then, it is just a color, one out of 12. I think the last time i saw rng complaints here, was for the damn class items.

3 RepliesFor the Exotic orders, once you get one, you can reroll it until you're given the one that awards the crystal (Praxic Professional). It's a set reward, not an RNG one. Only bottleneck at that point is your Glimmer access.

It took me over 100 invasions to get the red crystal, and im on @40 dungeon runs without the taken crystal. Ive got a few more tries in me before i give up on that one. Its getting pretty boring running it over and over.

The more you play, the smaller a chance to get it. It's intended to be like this, because Bungie knows you will play even more then.
