I'm honestly shocked that anybody who gets paid to make this game actually thought it was a good idea to introduce a matchmaking system in Trials that forces (incredibly) bad players into a lobby with players practically 5 skill brackets above them, forcing every match to be a 2v3 whether it favors my team or the opposing one, usually giving me no room for error where I will have a few inevitable bad games. The worst part is when matchmaking parameters just say "screw it" and I'm forced to play a match against a full fireteam of 3 insanely stacked players and I am stuck with a solo who is still trying to figure out what the "revive" pop-up means when sitting next to a ghost. It's so bad that it's genuinely so hard sometimes to keep from ripping into bad teammates when I have nobody to blame except for Bungie. Wipeout matches are too common (win or lose) and they're just flat out boring. Always. Win-based matchmaking was genuinely way better than whatever this garbage is, which says a lot considering it provided some of the most unbalanced and miserable matchmaking I have experienced in all of destiny depending on the day. Changes need to be made in the next "major" update if not sooner. I can't imagine a scenario where Trials (and consequently PvP as a whole) will survive much longer when you consider the POV of both the bad and good players. SBMM when utilized needs to truly match people at similar skill levels and not just average out the stats with the worst outliers possible.
