I'm a veteran from the before times , and I dont see much of a downfall to introducing lobby map voting before matches . You would be surprised at the positive feedback I think .

That’s why it isn’t a thing. Anything that is a nice touch requires effort, something these virtue signalling blowhards utterly lack.
-
Decade old features are now moon landing moments for D2. Well played, Bungie
-
The same feedback I always give for this suggestion. I'm gonna vote javelin4.
-
Could be. Won't happen though.
-
Map voting wouldn't be ideal. You'll just be playing the same maps that all of the sweaty players know.
-
Nobody would ever vote for different maps, it would be Javelin every match
-
Going from team swat to juggernaut playlists and being able to vote on the next map with game chat was peak halo era gaming! Crazy how the same company hasn't been able to replicate the same type of system in destiny. Infact before the d1 beta i was expecting some crazy space magic game modes with social playlist like tdm, cptf and something like oddball ect. we literally have nothing like that everything is a sweat fest and nobody plays for banter in chat or playing infected till 2am with the same people!.
-
I would love this. I also find it insane that we don’t have a permanent slayer playlist. How’s that not the default?
-
I feel like that’d ensure some maps never see the light of day. Especially in a pulse meta, close range maps (which I like) would be dead.
-
Yes I agree. I’d also like a 4v4 tdm playlist
-
Do this and unvault all maps I say
-
There would have to be some system in place to prevent everyone from picking the same three or so maps every time.
-
What if we bid on the next map? This could usher in an entirely new popular type of micro transaction. Bungie could make a fortune
-
It would be nice to know the PvP population per game mode so we know the probability of sweaty lobbies, like old school Halo and CoD days. Remember halo 3 or 4 when it showed you the population and picture of the country and world lit up and told you know how many players were playing a game mode in PvP? Those were the days. It’s time to stop being shy about player numbers and let us who are still here know what’s going on.

2 RepliesThen it’ll just be endless vale over and over.
-
No. I like Endless Vale and Javelin 4. But having to play them more than 3 times during any play session is too much.
-
1 Replyyeah if they made more than one map a year it’ll be nice 😭
-
Lol even Bungie knows 90% of the maps are -blam!-. And this is not a PvP game. So if you want to play endless vale/ javelin and burnout. Then mapvoting is the worse thing to introduce. And it’s also a dumb idea. Because if you haven’t notice, bungie is rotating maps due to playlist and seasons. This way they can keep the game “fresh” without any input with only switching a button and this community ppl will gobble it up like always. Especially the PvP community bungie has done everything to bully them away and there like a bad ca***. So pls just stop taking and gobble like a little s***
-
Give pvp something !
-
No because then everyone will only pick small maps and sit on shotguns all game
-
Would be a great idea 👍

yeah I think it could be done well... but doesn't seem likely to occur... I think this highlights their philosophy >>...I was kinda shocked to see the restructured Disjunction map.. instead of leaving it as a zone to use scouts on or taking out of rotation... they put up a bunch of walls on the outside portion.. reducing our scout maps even more... I have seen Multiplex a total of 1 time in a month in Control. These are the long range maps... happy to use HCs/Pulses on others but I keep scouts on it seems only for Eternity/Fortress/Widows/Midtown and only sometimes now... -
Been saying this for freaking yyyeeeaaarrrsss.
