So will you or won't you?
Playing something else?
And why is this or that your chosen genre?

1 ReplyI'm just here for the drama. You try to escape this place, though it pulls you back in. (⌒▽⌒)ゞ

I hear that Ape Escape game is gonna be pretty cool

5 RepliesI heard that Lost Ember got an update of some sort. I'm tempted to replay it, but I'm having fun learning raids. Sooo, it may be a while.

3 RepliesEdited by Unicorn860: 1/29/2026 10:19:28 PMI play a lot of games. I hope that marathon’s okay, but I’m not that interested. I recently started playing MIO(memories in orbit)-a really pretty metroidvania -and I’ve been playing through silk song. I’m also interested in playing space marine 2 but do any of you guys know if I need to play the first one first?

3 RepliesHalf Sword enters early access tomorrow. Nothing else matters.

12 RepliesPersonally, I like a variety of genres but if I were to say what I play most it would probably be action/adventure. Horror/survival is a close enough to be a tie though.

I don't have a "chosen game". I play lots of games. The closest thing to a "chosen game" I have I suppose would be Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles. It's my most played game on Switch and I do often hop back to it... But even then, it's more of a "let's play a few games here or there", not something I'm consistently playing all the time. I'm currently playing Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 again. I've gotten an inkling to go back and play it a few times, but I only have it on disc and I was lazy. Crazy that it's 10 years old and is still getting new DLC. I've been in a Dragon Ball mood recently as a result, and I'm tempted to go drop $200 money on a big boxset to watch through it... Recently went back to Touhou: Luna Nights as well. Picked it up when it first dropped, was very, very bad at it, came back, not bad anymore. Good fun. I don't know if I'll bother with the boss rush, though. Found a new Roguelike called Gunner.chan! a little while ago. It's like Gungeon but without the keys, which makes it 10x better because the keys ruined Gungeon. And I recently picked up Rune Factory 4. It's fine. Farming/aRPG. Better writing but worse combat than Harvestella, and Sakuna still beast both of them by a mile. Still, I like this genre, and I like Amber, so good fun. I plan to pick up a few new games when I get paid in a couple days, though. There's one I think called Noctuary that's on sale right now? Seems neat. Top down RPG thing with light magic it looks like. I'm hoping to pick up a second game as well but I haven't found anything yet.

2 RepliesI play Final Fantasy XIV and Warhammer irl lately, those have taken up a healthy amount of personal time and it's really all I've needed as of late. Otherwise I tool around in Elden Ring a bit; tried Nightreign- first impression-hated it. came back later and it's alright.

1 ReplyI don’t think extraction shooters are my thing, but I *might* try the Marathon demo to see if I change my mind. Really I’m looking forward to Pure Pool Pro (because I don’t have room in my house for a pool table), Mouse: P.I. For Hire (love the art style and looks fun) and Directive 8020 (interactive story from the makers of Until Dawn and The Dark Pictures). I’ll also keep an eye out for the Destiny multi-year roadmap (assuming it’s still happening). And GTA 6 towards the end of the year.
