Not sure if this is intended or not, but the Exotic states, "Your shield throws now become shield-piercing." The melee ability works just fine, with a slight issue I will state later, but Sentinel's shield throw bounces right off. However, when you are up close inside the bubble, it stuns the champion. Melee ability issue: When you don't deal enough damage to a Barrier Champion's bubble with the shield throw melee ability, it auto-pops the bubble, but you don't get your melee charge back. This seems to only be an issue in Grandmaster Vanguard Alerts with the high damage reduction, as I was able to stun Ultimatum Barrier Champions without an issue. Edit: added video link
