Why would Someone Buy this whole game again (around $200 if u buy it all individually in stream for example) when u already bought it all and specially have the preorder bundles. atleast have some privilage of buying everything let alone staying in the game after such a fall. cant even enjoy it after moving over cuz i cant access all my dlcs. big shame and hard to believe people really moved over and bought it all again spacially now.

If you buy a coke at Burger King, McDonald's isn't giving you a free refill, you will have to pay again You are not buying DLCs, you are buying exclusive liscenses to access the DLCs on that platform, so every platform gets their cut of the profits

2 RepliesI don’t understand the method so maybe somebody here knows. Since D2 is “free-to-play”, does the respective platform need to be included in the sale of the DLCs directly? Dungeon keys and season passes are sold via eververse and the respective store would gain from the silver purchase, but you can play the dungeon/season/reward track on any platform I thought. (I could definitely be wrong on this so correct me if I am.). If that is the case, where is the requirement that the DLCs content is sold outside the game instead of through the eververse?

If you’re thinking of buying D2 on steam then get it from somewhere like loaded.com It’ll be much cheaper than through steam directly. The reason DLC doesn’t transfer is because (as has already been said) the platform holders want their cut.

Cause the platforms want their cut.

1 ReplyKnowing that DLCs don't transfer, I simply wouldn't move to another platform.

It's like doing your weekly food shop at 1 supermarket & then going to a rival supermarket & wanting the same items for free, or at discount, because you already bought it all once. Flawed logic
