I just recently got talked into dipping my toes back in after years of not playing. I think it was before the Battle.net to steam migration since I last played? I had guardians on Battle.net, PS, and Xbox but when I tried finding any of them on the cross save menu they were all gone. It still acknowledged which clans I belonged to on each platform but guardians and any silver I might've had were gone. I tried logging into my PS4 and it just prompted me to make a new guardian. When I tried on my PS5 it gave me a slideshow of all my past accomplishments on raids and who I was with, but prompted me to make a new guardian anyway. I don't have my Xbox anymore to try that but I have a feeling it would've been the same.
From what I have read there might be nothing I can do but I figured I'd post this here just in the off chance someone could guide me in the direction for a little more hope in getting my guardians back.

You have no deleted characters on PSN, so it having no characters on D2 means your D1 characters were not eligible for transfer for whatever reason. As for Steam, when Bungie began moving from Battle.net to Steam there was a year+ window to do so that ended on December 1, 2020. Any characters not transferred by that date became inaccessible and cannot be transferred anymore. So your Steam having no characters besides the one you just created yesterday means you didn't transfer them to that account.

Thanks guys. I guess I ended up gaslighting myself about playing Destiny 2 on the consoles. It was only the first Destiny I did that with after looking at the achievements on each. Unfortunate about the character losses but I guess that solves it.

Edited by Crisidelm: 2/22/2026 7:46:36 PMThe PS account linked to this profile has no Destiny 2 character, only Destiny 1 ones. The Steam account has one, new character, and no deleted ones. Battle.net characters, if not migrated to Steam back in the day, are now lost forever.
