The community has been vocal about Bungie not reissuing old gear. Its one of the things people have been upset about is the reissue/repaint of old gear and weapons. I do agree with you that Prime and the other were fun, but the four different jobs for Gambit was way too difficult to actually use. Unless you were a dedicated gambit team on mic, the armor was completely useless. (I could see them adding similar perks on a tiered set of armor, with the 2 or 4 armor piece bonuses) Most people in Gambit do not party up, most players jump in, play, and jump out. They should focus the hours spent on making new armor/weapons and a new system for gambit. Turn it into a pve map with objectives, and have the invaders similar to the star wars invaders. Similar to exfil but smaller maps and no exfil for obvious reasons. In my opinion, the community shouldnt suggest or request old gear or armor. It gives Bungie an easy way out by repainting old gear and saying its the "latest".
