Overview / The Problem:
Now that Destiny 2 has transitioned to the permanent Monument of Triumph / evergreen model without quarterly seasonal resets, many dedicated players hit the max rank on the Triumphant Rewards Pass and cap their Clan Level at 6 within the first few weeks.
Once this happens, casual and semi-hardcore clan members have fewer recurring milestone incentives, leading to extended inactivity. For clan administrators, this creates a major retention challenge where rosters stall out despite having active leadership and players eager to run endgame content.
Proposed Solution:
Introduce an automated Pass Prestige / Reset Mechanic once a player reaches Rank 150 (or similar ceiling):
1. Manual Reset Trigger: Upon hitting Rank 150, players get the option to "Prestige" or reset their Rewards Pass back to Rank 1.
2. Rollover Progression: Any ranks earned beyond the threshold (e.g., Rank 134 transitioning or rolling over) apply toward the new loop.
3. Legacy Loot & Cosmetics Track: Subsequent prestige runs could cycle through previous legacy seasonal tracks—allowing players to earn older universal ornaments, emotes, shaders, and materials from past years without requiring brand-new asset development.
4. Clan Vitality: Keeps Clan XP meaningful year-round, giving players a continuous personal milestone to chase during weekly resets and keeping clan rosters active.
Conclusion:
A simple cyclical prestige loop at the Monument terminal would give the game infinite replayability, solve the clan retention stall, and provide a lasting reward loop for the entire community in this evergreen era.
It doesn’t have to be Rank 150, but 150 does show dedication and commitment, although, 125 would be a more conservative rank to prestige.

I thought it would have been cool to do this with titles, not the stupid gilding thing but this. Hand out different emblems, ghost shells, sparrows and ornament sets for each prestige up to 10 (seriously, how hoard would that have been?). If people are addicts, give them a dragon to chase.
