I would create a new mission, send it as an update to the game with no previous mention of it or the update. Then announce the new DLC and D3/Destiny Infinity later that day. The new mission being the segway into what is coming, If I was doing it.

It’s over sadly my sources confirmed it last night

1 ReplyI still think there is something like this still in that game that hasn't been discovered yet.

4 RepliesWhat about your idea... But, it's not 1 mission. It's an entire expansion. And they basically shadow drop it. And then announce that a raid, and the Destiny Forge beta will follow it shortly after. And then World's first unlocks a cutscene showing us the next installment in the franchise. 😇👍💠

except that's never going to happen bungie will be lucky to survive the rest of the year they have no games in development no greenlit games to start pre-development marathon is deader than a door nail sony and bungie fired over 50% of their staff and the entire d2 dev team bungie is now leasing out large chunks of their hq while they fire even more people

Stop coping. The most likely thing we'll get at this point is a destiny 1 remaster or re-release on PC. They can't make new destiny content because all the devs got fired.

Good idea add a unique player card to show you did the mission before dlc launch and it be even better

I miss when they'd add stuff randomly without telling players. I still remember the first post about the Io Whisper mission and no one believing them at first as they didn't really know how they'd triggered it. Or things like the blades of crota appearing before Dark Below in D1

1 ReplyThat would actually be a pretty cool way of doing it.

Like Whisper mission?

Ah a shadow drop.... Like the good old days... No fanfare... Just here's the game enjoy... As it should be... Post...
