Feedback & Request: New Trophies/Achievements and an Extra Platinum for Destiny 2
As a longtime player, I’d like to share a suggestion regarding achievements: it has been years since we last got new trophies added to Destiny 2, with the Forsaken expansion being the last time the trophy list was updated.
Along with the upcoming Content Vault updates, it would be amazing if Bungie released a fresh set of trophies covering the entire Destiny 2 journey, complete with a new bonus Platinum (or a 100% completion milestone). It would be a great way to reward dedicated players and give everyone a fun reason to revisit classic content!

[quote]It would be a great way to reward dedicated players[/quote] In game emblems and other gear do just that and they are a bunch better reward than a bit of string text that you only see once for about 5 seconds after doing 'X' task. A bit of string text is hardly an award for doing something stupid and often hard. Achievements also encourage players to do silly tasks (for example, earn a kill with the weakest gun, by doing 'x stupid other task') in multiplayer matches which is very annoying for those who are playing the match as normal. Achievement hunters often get the achievement, leave and then move on to something else. Games would be much better going back to the days when achievements didn't exist. Yes, I'm an old Dino.

Doubt they'd do it as they've already forked out loads to change some of the existing trophies multiple times.
