Character Power Level Stuck at 10 After Returning to Game
Hi Bungie Support Team,
I recently returned to Destiny 2 after taking a break for a few years. Upon logging in, both of my characters show a total Power Level stuck at 10, even though I have played for many hours since coming back and am currently using Exotic equipment and higher-level gear.
It seems like my power level is not syncing correctly with my account's current gear. Could you please help me resolve or resync this issue on my account?

Edge of Fate had a power squash and everyone was put down to 10. The last time you played was 2020 which is 5 years before that happened, you're at the correct power. Run some activities and you'll get 300 drops which brings you up to the soft power floor instead of the hard one.

Edited by EckyThump: 10/1/2026 10:20:11 PMHey there, when Edge of Fate launched in 2025 it brought a 'power squeeze', the power thresholds were changed from 1900-2010, to 10-550. In addition every item every player owned was reduced to the new floor of 10, so a returning player seeing all items at Power 10 is totally normal. Are you saying new gear is dropping at 10? It should now be dropping at 300. Or are you saying your power remains at 10 despite equipping higher level gear? At the moment all your gear is Power 10 so a Power 10 total is correct.
