Have you ever been fired from a job before, Flood?
-
I thought I was once, because a manager told me I was, I just didn't go back. Found out that I wasn't fired but since I had missed so many days without any notice(even though I was under the impression that I was fired), I was ultimately fired anyway.
-
Is that the same song from Nicolas Cage Losing His Shit? And yes, I have been. Sadly it was a day before I planned to quit. So I never had the satisfaction of quitting.
-
I always quited.
-
Thankfully no.
-
Yep. My reaction? "Well, I was looking for a job when I found this one. I can do it again."
-
No, but I've been watered from a job before.
-
I prefer to quit, instead of get fired. I'n most cases my performaced dropped because I really didn't like how I was being treated or because my personal life was overflowing into my professionl life, so I usually decide to move on to a better career.
-
Nah. I kept my first job for over two years. Got 'promoted without a pay raise since we're on a pay freeze.' Then was quietly let go (stopped scheduling me) when they found out I'd be leaving for College at the end of Summer anyways. Next year I had another better paying job and did fine in that. Now it's a matter if I can get the job I ACTUALLY want. And if I do I'm sure I won't ever be fired, hah.
-
Hell, I haven't even been hired.
-
No. I was actually promoted a few times.
-
Only ever laid off.

Edited by Barcelona: 1/16/2013 11:20:08 PMYeah, from for first job for slacking off. I hated it and the people I worked with since the first day and just didn't feel like putting any effort into it. I should've quit instead.

I was fired from being the Line Leader in kindergarten.
