That last chapter was great Wolvers. However "Death swung his scythe, and the funeral bells rang." sounds a bit weak for the ending of the chapter. How could a funeral bell ring, a funeral implies that it was a planned event. Perhaps something like: The air of life was seared, and the cold death knell tolled. or Death reaped his sacred crop, leaving the rest to the brewing storm.
