Official League of Legends discussion thread
Thought we could have one, since more members of MBT are starting to play. You know how these things work.
For those that don't know or are interested, league of legends is a free online game where you fight in arenas on teams, trying to destroy the enemy base. Its that RTS-styled field of view, but your champion has skills. Its not an RPG, its not an RTS. Its fun. leagueoflegends.com

I mean that is the reason they won their Regionals. The 5 winners of the Regionals drew straws, the loser having to be in the main group, the other 4 are on byes. Those include TSM, Taipei Assasins, Sword, Moscow 5, and then Frost (which drew the short straw). I think Moscow 5 is gonna win. I root for TSM cause they are like the hometeam, the team that everyone cant help but loving. But I think M5 has the aggresive early play that dominates, and they don't -blam!- up when it comes to late game

DA PLAYS. SK VS CLG That was such an epic base rush oh my god. So SK looked like they were gonna win, dominating the push and almost taking their base, but CLG Doublelift is down bot backdooring. They send Shen to defend but its not enough because Double Lift was ridiculous farmed, so he was pushing the bot hard and ended up pushing to nexus turrets. So then SK starts to back up to recall. Hotshotgg and the Lulu doesnt let them though, and then the big play comes out. As they are running all the way back to their base, half of CLG teleports to Graves and helps take out the two nexus turrets. Finally SK gets there but a pro flash across the nexus keeps bigfatlp alive long enough to get the nexus. Such a good play.

They are good but they do derp pretty often. That fail from IG on the cass early? Ali tower diving at random and then Vlad not finishing the kill? Just silly

Its basically reporting but for positive things. At the end of matches you can upvote "honor" people for being.. -Friendly (They were nice/funny/made the game fun) -Helpfull (They gave good advice, offered to help a lot) -Teamwork (Made pro plays, carried, supported amazingly) You can also honor enemies -Honorable Opponent. (They were cool, winning or losing) Right now the points don't mean anything, but someday they might. The whole reason Riot is doing it is to -Say good job to the nice people -Make the mean/normal people want to be nice people [Edited on 10.03.2012 6:55 PM PDT]

[/quote] Only bad one is teh Nasus. He requires half an hour of farming, then 10 minutes of dueling, THEN he become the unstoppable killer. Which is poop when everyone is ganking toplane at 2 min :/ If anyone is around today, I have Gavin up to 1400 and am going to try to get 1500 today. Will be around all morning, so if you wanna duo, lmk.

A good thing that has come from Gavin's absence is I have been trying new champs. Really liking Hec jungle, Jarven top/jungle, and Nasus top.
