Also, Every time stricter gun laws are proposed, Republicans cry foul and invoke the second amendment and constitutional rights. But they defend laws like the Defense of Marriage Act, which denies equal rights to a minority - rights that are guaranteed in the U.S. Constitution. Gotta love how the Republicans will only defend [i]some[/i] rights, you know?

Not to ignite a terrible hell-fire of arguments and rage, I'll just say that us Canadians (at least the people I talk to here in BC) are confused by American politics sometimes. Seriously, guys.
