I remember as this exact quote was being filtered through the air during my first playthrough. There was a great sense of depression due to the Brutes claiming the right hand of the prophets while casting down the Elites. The music that filled the void made this moment of Halo 2's campaign so dramatic and engaging. If only the franchise blossomed with moments like these.
