It was about this time last year when we had a community pentathlon. I thought it was an excellent event, and definitely something to do again this year. Of course, we probably won't have our titles back in time for this. Join dates should provide a sufficiently trivial illusion of superiority to the mythics, and to promote some semblance of teams. EDIT: Teams will be based on title bars users have from the old B.net.
I propose for the games to be held on Saturday, January 26th. Throughout the day/night to accommodate as many people as possible throughout the world.
As far as games, what would you guys like to see? I suppose Halo 4 would be an obvious choice. Maybe Halo 3/ODST as a bit of a throwback too. It needs to be games that lots of people would have. You can check the above link to last years pentathlon to see what games we played then.
I'll edit this post with captains/rosters/times/games etc. as things are fleshed out.

I wasn't aware that you all had a community pentathlon last year! The idea sounds neat. I can't wait for Destiny to come out; hopefully it will resurrect the Seventh Column!

I'll play if there's some Far Cry or Battlefield 3, but I can't stand Halo 4's multiplayer.

We decided to hold off on it this year because there's no way to define the people clearly and visually which is what added the feeling of competition last year. In addition, generally this takes multiple organizers to be successful so we just laid off this year. Hopefully with Destiny next year we'll be able to do something wonderful. Perhaps I'll host another Bungie Day event like I did last year.

I think we should wait till we have our titles back. Mythics master race.

Sounds like fun but I'm not sure if the 26th will work for me.
