Has there been anything about when Destiny was going to come out?
Title says it all.
And also, how long have they been working on it?

I remember reading something about an announcement at GDC. Not a release date, but its a start.

Bungie does have a reputation of releasing games in september but that's just a guess.

Yes, in 2013. That's what the Bungie/Activision contract states. Also, you can bet that it's going to come out in time for christmas, but not in the summer (since they've showed nothing of the actual game yet) 7/7 is a nice idea, since it's Bungie, but my money would be closer to mod-october 2013.
