So I am currently waiting for an advanced law class required for my major. It is also, however, my first class in the Law Building. When you walk in you are on the third floor, but there are many nice, comfy chairs on the second level. Right outside my room, in fact- though class doesn't start for an hour.
But I noticed something very quickly. You see, this building seems to have just one type of person so far, as I people watch... hipsters. As I type, there is not a single male in vision that does not have either a beanie hat or a scarf or really thick rimmed glasses. And not a one lacks a cup of coffee next to him. And you smell it too- the whole place smells like coffee and self assurance. It's getting to me right now, I'll admit. The smell is overpowering all other senses. As I type, my vision begins to blur and I have the urge to go to a Starbucks for the first time ever. This greatly upsets me. Though I suppose it might be largely because of how hungry I am and I really want a bagel... of which I smell plenty by the way.
Have any of you ever gone to an area populated almost exclusively with one type of person? Who, where, and when? Was it horrible? Were your senses overpowered by the sheer number of them? I am curious what other areas these people gather in.

I feel weird walking into any place filled with white people, even if there's a black guy in the corner. And there's always a black guy in the corner.
