I don't like "Combat Evolved" because it sounds like an advertisement: "Halo: Combat Evolved", it's advertising the game, just like a supermarket or something. "Halo: Fresh as the Morning!" I want a subtitle that isn't just a throwaway line but actually has something to do with the game itself, like "Myth: The Fallen Lords", or "Marathon 2: Durandal" or "Myth II: Soulblighter". Now they were good subtitles, cos they distinguished the game from the others in the series: I'm sure the combat in Halo 2 will be even more "evolved" than in Halo 1. But Durandal was the only AI you take orders from in Marathon 2, as opposed to in Marathon (you listen to Leela as well) and Infinity (you listen to Durandal, Tycho and Thoth). In Myth I the war is against all of the Fallen Lords, whereas in Myth II the main bad guy is Soulblighter with a little help from Shiver. This is reflected in the subtitles. So basically, Halo's subtitle should have been more relevant to the game, is what I'm saying. Like the book, Halo: The Flood. They could have used "The Flood" instead of "Combat Evolved". - Reiginko
