The quality seems to be increasing from eps 4-6, but it's not increasing quickly enough. Of course, playing with a full team of 4 friends would be awesome, but I've had some great experiences playing with randoms in MM. Especially the last chapter of Ep. 5, with the RvB egg enabled, when two of our team left. Two Spartans + Hammers vs. Hunters and Wraiths was hilarious. There is a lot of repetition though, objective wise. A lot of go here, kill guys, push button, rescue eggheads... The first mission of Ep.5 was interesting, as it was actually possible to fail if you weren't playing well, but apart from that, and the first mission of the new episode, there really hasn't been much variety. The new environments were good though: one previously unused multiplayer map and one fully reskined Campaign map, the other 3 being new. That feels like a reasonable ratio of old:new, without getting repetitive like sniper alley and the lava map and without asking for an unreasonable amount on the part of the devs. Overall, it's getting better, but the actual mission objectives are lagging behind the rest of the improvements.
