Integrated IRC into private groups (Live chat on B.next)

I've been frequenting IRC for a long time now, channels dedicated to bungie.net or some private groups I'm in. What would be nice would be some way to integrate these onto the site in a way that isn't shit. I'd like some form of group live chat available in private groups, however, I have no idea what to suggest in order to do this. Any ideas? Bungie's own server? Link external servers? The interface would probably be best as a window where you can access different channels in the same place rather than switching between groups. P.S. If you like the idea please "like" the idea and reply for those who haven't learnt how to get off the "popular" page

Commenting on behalf of Nerd Boi who can't right now because lolstralia: "<Nerd Boi> I personally love this idea, this purpose is currently well served by the #bungienet irc channel, available at chat.moap.net, but integration into the website would be great."
