Script Central: What role will it play in Bungie.next?

Compared to the older Bungie.net, scripts have been pretty much rendered inert after this update. What role do you think scripts will play in Bungie.next (especially Coup!)? Personally I was hoping that Bungie would have a 'forum API' that would allow us to access some portions of their database to develop third-party scripts. As a developer of a few scripts myself, I was definitely wishing this would be a reality (though Bungie.next has eliminated all use of the scripts I developed which is nice because they were bad regardless). What do you think?

  • Scripts are still usable, you just need to find new things to fix. Or if you want to use an old script of yours, fix whats broken in it to make it work again.
